Shipping and delivery

Every book is packed and posted by hand. That is slower than a warehouse and it is the honest reason the windows below are what they are.

Where we ship

Anywhere in India. We deliver to the address you give at checkout, so please check the pincode before you pay.

We do not ship outside India yet.

What it costs

Nothing extra. Shipping is already inside the price on the book's page, so the number you see there is the number you pay.

When it goes out

We dispatch within two to three business days of your payment clearing. Orders placed on a weekend or a public holiday go out on the next working day.

When it arrives

Once it is with the courier, expect three to five days to the metros and five to eight elsewhere. Remote pincodes take longer, and so does everything during a festival week.

Tracking it

You get an email the moment your book is dispatched, carrying the courier's name and a tracking number. That same email links to your order page, which shows the current status without asking you to log in anywhere.

If the address is wrong

Write to harfstudios@gmail.com as soon as you notice. We can change an address any time before dispatch. Afterwards it depends on the courier, and a parcel that comes back to us will be resent at no cost to you once we have a correct address.

If nobody is home, most couriers try again and then hold the parcel at a local hub. They will call you. If the parcel returns to us before you reach them, we will write to you rather than quietly refund it.
