These are the terms you agree to when you buy something here. We have tried to write them so you can actually read them.

Who you are buying from

Harf Studios, registered at Flat 104, Ove Cape, MGR Residency, Building No 8, HNR Layout, Kasavanahalli, Bengaluru 560035, India. Throughout this page, "we" and "us" mean Harf Studios, and "you" means the person placing the order.

Prices

Every price on this site is in Indian rupees and already includes delivery anywhere in India. There is no separate shipping line and no charge added at the last step.

Prices can change. The price that binds is the one shown when you place your order.

Your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it by dispatching the book, not by taking your money, so a payment on its own does not make a contract.

We can refuse or cancel an order. If we do, you get every rupee back. The reasons are the ordinary ones: we have run out, the price was listed wrong, the address cannot be delivered to, or the payment looks fraudulent.

Paying

Payments run through Cashfree Payments. Your card and UPI details go straight to them and never reach our servers. Their terms apply to that part of the transaction alongside ours.

Delivery and returns

Covered on their own pages: shipping and delivery, and refunds and returns. Both are part of these terms.

What you may do with the book

The text, illustrations and design of our books belong to us. Buying a copy buys you that copy, to read and to teach yourself from. It does not let you reproduce it, resell it as a file, or distribute scans.

Quote us in a class or a post. That is not what this clause is about.

What we are responsible for

We take responsibility for getting you the book you paid for, in one piece. If we fail, you get a replacement or a refund.

Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer law, which stands whatever this page says.

Which law applies

Indian law governs these terms, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may update this page. The version that applies to your order is the one that was live when you placed it, and the date at the top tells you when it last moved.
